Bananas Foster Shots will be a hit at your next party. You choose if you want to serve them for dessert or drinks or both!
Shots of all kinds are definitely my thing, and I think everyone knows that by now.
I definitely love making boozy dessert shots to bring out after dinner…especially if we hadn’t planned any dessert – it’s kind of like a substitute – or a good fake out to make it seem like you planned on it all along.
Last week I used Kenny Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum Cream to make this crazy good banana bread and this week I”m using it for shots.
These Bananas Foster Shots taste exactly like the dessert it’s famously named after, so if bananas foster for dessert is your thing, you’re going to love these.
Last week I also went to Met Life Stadium to check out Kenny Chesney in concert…and I’m happy to report, a good time was had by all. Note to self, next time I go tailgating at a Kenny Chesney concert, bring more than two bottles of the Blue Chair Bay Rum. Like a lot more.
Hanging out my brother and a few friends, the night went along pretty good, shots and all.
We were lucky enough to get into the “Sand Bar” which is like the pit are at Kenny Chesney concerts, you’ve gotta be in shape to be in the Sand Bar…I’m talking hours and hours of standing and partying. That’s why we needed to get our head start with a few hours of tailgating beforehand.
That’s how close we were to the stage, pretty cool. I’m hitting the Bruce shows next week so I’ll give you the full report on which show was best – but I think I already have my answer for that one!
Just a dew ingredients go into these shots, shake them together and start pouring.
We’re planning a trip in November to St. John for a whole week…I’m trying to plan out how much of this rum we’re going to need for a whole week in St. John…and who knows, maybe we’ll even run into Kenny there while he’s hanging at one of the local bars and I can pour him one of these Bananas Foster Shots!
