These Double Trouble Tropical Tequila Shots are hitting a happy hour near you! A few of these fun and tasty tequila shots will turn any night into a party!
I’m ready for summer, or even just warm weather. Bring it on because I’m sick of cold, rainy days.
At least the snow is over but after a while you just need some sunshine.
These Double Trouble Tropical Tequila Shots will bring the sunshine even if there’s no sun around on Cinco de Mayo, which around my area that looks like that’s going to be the case.
There’s nothing wrong with a plain tequila shot with lime, but today we’re making a shot that’s a little more creative, and tasty.
Why are these shots called Double Trouble? I’ll give you two reasons. One is that there’s two types of liquor in these little shots, tequila and pineapple vodka.
Double the booze, double the fun.
The other reason for the name Double Trouble is that these shots go down so smooth and taste so good you’re going to have to make sure you’ve got a ride home…or are in walking distance.
It’s the kind of drink that you don’t think there’s any booze in there at all – except there is.
You can rim these shot glasses with Turbinado Raw Cane Sugar to give them a slightly sweet (but not too sweet) flavor as you sip.
Rim your glasses first then mix up the shots in a cocktail shaker. You can also get these all ready ahead of time so there’s no down time when it comes to your happy hour…just shake them up again right before serving.
All that’s left to do is to yell out – who wants tequila shots??
And watch them come running.
These Double Trouble Tropical Pineapple Tequila Shots are going to make everyone a tequila fan! Serve them up for your cocktail hour tonight!
